An object is placed at a distance of 20 cm from a convex mirror of focal length 20 cm. If the object is made to move away from the mirror with a speed of 5 cm/s, find the speed of image with respect to pole of the mirror.

plz justify ur answer as well.

The mirror equation gives u
\frac{1}{v} +\frac{1}{u}=\frac{1}{f} where the ysmbols have their usual meaning
now differentiating we get
\frac{-dv}{v^{2}dt} + \frac{-du}{u^{2}dt}=0 as \frac{d(\frac{1}{f})}{dt}=0
so u get v_{i}=\frac{v^{2}v_{o}}{u^{2}} so plugging the values we get the answer
hope u get the differentaiton part
